The MX341 Stamford AVR card is a high-performance and reliable Automatic Voltage Regulator (AVR) designed for use with Stamford alternators equipped with PMG excitation systems. It continuously monitors the generator output voltage and precisely controls the excitation current to ensure stable and accurate voltage regulation, even under sudden load changes or non-linear loads.

Technical Features and Operating Principle

The MX341 AVR regulates the alternator output voltage by controlling the excitation current supplied to the rotor windings. The PMG input ensures that the AVR remains unaffected by voltage distortion at the generator terminals, allowing consistent voltage control and improved motor-starting capability.
